see C&G's custom exhaust system and turbo tip. You can adapt a variety of
turbos to this setup to match the boost levels your motor's infrastructure can handle. They
come standard with Jet Coating to prevent corrosion, not to mention that custom race
ready look. This exhaust system uses turbos with a built in waste gate to
govern your boost level. Everything bolts on with little effort.
Using our exhaust system and turbo setup you can can easily boost a stock
2.5L motor up to about 300HP. With a Link or Motec engine management
system we can tune your motor with turbo to produce a potent clean running
motor.
The exhaust shown here has a waste gate flange right under the turbo charger
to support an external waste gate. Turbo setups with external waste gates
cost more than those with a built in waste gate, but you get some added
benefits. External waste gates are more accurate, keeping the gate shut
right up to the max boost level it's set for. This accuracy in opening will minimize the
boost spool time, which will deliver more power, sooner. Internal
waste gates will start opening earlier, which can lengthen the spool time,
delivering the maximum HP a little later, versus external waste gate.
